From the left:
- Base Factor: The whole number that TileDreams uses in generating
the tile set, and amount of rotation associated with the tile-rotation keys.
- Tile Menu: A graphic-enabled menu that changes when you change
the base factor. You can change the current tile by selecting it from this menu.
- Outline Width: A graphic-enabled menu that affects the thickness of the outline around
the tile. Line thickness radiates from the actual edge of the tile in equal
directions, and effectively increases the size of the tile, but does not reposition the
vertices. Tile in TileDreams appear "stacked" in the order they are
placed.
- Tile Size: A slide control that allows you to adjust the length
of the tile-side in pixels. Tiles cannot be resized once they are placed.
- Point Sharing: A check-box that enables or disables this
feature. Point Sharing is an advanced topic, and is
covered elsewhere in this manual.
- Detect Vertex Sensitivity: Adjust the sensitivity of the
detect-vertex feature, in pixels. When the mouse gets within range of a previously
placed tile's vertex, the current-tile will appear highlighted, indicating it is within
range of an existing vertex. Placing a tile while it is within range forces it to
share that vertex. Set this to 0 to disable Detect Vertex.
- Show / Hide Palette: Toggles the palette on or off.
- Focus: A graphic enabled control that allows you to specify which
TileDreams element is affected by color assignment commands.
