Tile dreams began on Valentines Day, 2003, when I gave my sweetheart a set of colored magnetic rhombuses with a black steel “canvas”. The designs on the packaging included many geometric mandalas and medicine wheels. Her interest in these art forms led me to select this as a gift, but I soon found that I derived as much (if not more pleasure than her) creating my own designs. I wanted more. A single set of rhombuses in only three colors was not enough to satisfy me. I needed more colors, tiles, sizes, and options. With only a vague goal in mind, and not a single clue about programming graphics in Windows ®, I proceeded to write cryptic statements commonly referred to as “source code” that would become TileDreams.Now go have fun.
